You're my Friend

I decided to join the fun over at Silhouette Challenges and the theme for the month is to Print and Cut with your Silhouette.  I found this cute girl image, I think it was "Rapunzel" and also this rose image.  I cut the girla and the rose twice to give some depth.  It is so easy to print and cut with the Cameo.  tfl.

My Family!

We were all together for my husband's birthday and were able to get this picture of our family.  Aren't they gorgeous!!  tfl.

Hoot, Hoot, Hooray!

Hello again.  It is time for another challenge over at BBTB2.  Maureen is our wonderfully, talented designer in charge of our challenge this week.  Our challenge is to use an owl in your card or project.  I found this cute owl from the Wild Card 2 cartridge.  The inside sentiment says: I'll owlways love you.  Come and join the challenge and let's see what you can do!!  Check out what the other ladies have come up with.  tfl.

Yappy Birthday!

I made this card for our triage nurse at work.  She had a birthday on July 4th, so I made a festive card for her.  She loves doggies and thought she may enjoy this.  I found this idea over at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.  Joy did such a fabulous job on her card and I shamelessly scraplifted it.  I  made this for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Sharon, our talented design sister has our challenge for the week and it is "dog days of summer".  You can use a dog in your card or project.  I welded the dog house together to make a shape card and also welded the doggie to the hat to make a shadow.  The patriotic hat is from Create a Critter 2.  Come and join the fun!!  tfl.

Happy Camper!

Hello again, it is time again for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Pam is our wonderfully talented design sister with a travel challenge.  It can be anything fun that you do over the summer.  Our vacations have usually been spent at our camper, relaxing.  I decided to use the card from Wild Card 2.  I used a label from the Campin' Critters cartridge.  Simple card, but here it is.  Come and join us and link up with us.  tfl.

Sew what?

This is a birthday card for one of the nurses that I work with.  She loves to quilt and has made some beautiful quilts!!  I found this sewing machine cut over at the Silhouette Online Store.  I added these flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge.  The inside says:  When life gives you scraps, make quilts.  Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July.  tfl.

We appreciate you!

Hello, it is time for another challenge over at BBTB2 and our theme for this week is "Independence Day Challenge".  Michelle is our talented design sister for this week and has challenged us to use a Cricut cut with an Independence theme.  I was asked to participate in a World War 2 Honor Flight Mail Call.  One of my co-workers knows one of the honorees.  I made this card to honor him.  I used George for the square and star and welded them together to make the card base.  I also used Art Philosophy for the label and Create a Critter 2 for the patriotic hat.  It was so much fun to create this card and be part of this honor to the veterans that fought for our country.  Come and join us at BBTB2 and link up your project with us.  tfl.
