County Fair Layout

I had such fun making this layout for a challenge over at BBTB2, for the County Fair challenge.  I did not know what to do for this challenge, but thought back to my 4H days and the projects that we made for the Sandwich County Fair.  This picture shows an apron, tote bag and scarf that I made.  It was made out of red gingham fabric.  This also shows how ancient that I am, lol.  I was very blessed to have grown up on a farm.  I still can't  believe that my Mom let me use her sewing machine.  That started my love for all things crafty.  The cartridges that I used for this layout are Coutry Life, and Nifty Fifties.  Tfl.

You're Not Old... Vintage!

Emily is our talented designer with the challenge over at BBTB2.  We are to create a project that is vintage.  I picked the Nifty Fifties to create my card.  I also used Artiste for the flowers and the sentiment comes from the Imagine printables.  I think I will give this to my sister for her birthday.  tfl.

Route 60

Our challenge over at BBTB2 is to use a sign or banner in your card or project.  I made this card from the Nifty Fifties cartridge and it is for my husband's big 60th birthday.  This sign had 66 on it and I changed it to 60.  I hope he likes it.  The arrow is from Art Philosophy.  Maureen is our wonderfully talented designer with our challenge for this week.  Come and join us.  Tfl.

Dance Like No One Is Watching!

This was a fun and easy card to put together.  The saying came from the Silhouette Online Store and the lady dancing came from the Nifty Fifties cartridge.  I wish I had done a print and cut on the saying.  It was tedious to put it together.  The inside says:  sing like no one is listening.  Our amazingly talented designer, Emily is in charge of our challenge this week over at BBTB2.  It is to be all about dancing!  Come and join the challenge and link up your card or project with us.  tfl.
