Happy Holidays




This is a picture of my amazing and beautiful grandchildren.   Christmas was just so much fun with them opening their presents.  We had a wonderful dinner with the girls bringing some of the food.  It was soooo good, especially since I didn't have to make all of it.

This is another Christmas card that I made using the Winter Wonderland cartridge:



This is an album that I made for my Mom filled with pictures over the last year.  This is made from a card and envelope pack from Hobby Lobby.

Do not open until dec 25!

Hello, this is a Christmas card that I made for my youngest son.  Again, I used A Quilted Christmas cartridge for this card.  This is a very simple card.  This card was also made for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Melanie is our amazing design sister in charge of the challenge for this week.  We are to use a Santa in our card or project.  That isn't hard, right.   I know that everyone is so very busy this time of year.  I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and may God bless you and your family.  tfl.

Christmas Donkey

I enjoyed making this card so much.  A Quilted Christmas has to be my favorite Christmas cartridge. Silent Night, Holy Night

Hello, it is time to break out the Christmas images and make some Christmas cards.  Our challenge this week over at BBTB2 is to make a project with holly or a poinsettia.  Laurie has picked this fun challenge.  I have enjoyed picking up my Christmas papers and starting to make cards.  The tag is from Bits & Pieces and the Poinsettia is from Winter Wonderland.  I love this poinsettia cut.  I used art philosophy for part of the tag.  This is from a sketch over at Mojo Monday.  Please join us and link up your project with us.  tfl.

Give Thanks

Autumn Leaves

Blessings

Hello again, it is time again for a challenge over at BBTB2 and Emily has the challenge for this week.  We were to use fall colors in our card or project.  Easy, peasy.  My card is a hybrid card again, using my Silhouette and my Explore.  The pumpkin is from the Silhouettte Online store and I made a tag using my Explore and the Art Philosophy cartridge and called it done.  Easy, right.  tfl.

Autumn Pumpkins

Beware!!



Hello, it is my turn for the challenge over at BBTB2 and this week, it is all about Halloween.  I chose to make a card or project with a bat in it.  My card is a hybrid card, using my silhouette for the card base and the images are from my Cricut Explore.  I used several cartridges:  bat and witch from Simply Charmed, spider and ghost from Mini Monsters, Spooky came from the Artiste cartridge and Beware came from Artbooking.  Beware is hard to see because it is on the side peeking out.  Check out what my design sisters have come up with.  Awesomeness for sure.  tfl

Gobble, Gobble!


Our challenge over at BBTB2 is to make a card or project using a Turkey.  Susan is our amazingly talented design sister with the challenge for us this week.  I had to use this cute teddy bear/turkey from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  This challenge, for this week is in honor of Canada's Thanksgiving day, which is October 12.  Did you know that they celebrate Thanksgiving also?  Check out what my other design sisters have come up with.  tfl.

Trick or Treat!

Autumn

Beware of Little Monsters


This is a swing card made with my Silhouette Cameo.  The images are pring and cut.  I incorporated the lettering in the square cut of the swing card.   This was an easy card to put together.  tfl.

One Smart Cookie!

It is time for our challenge over at BBTB2 and our challenge was to use a cookie in our card or project.  I pondered this for a while, not sure what to do.  Then cookie monster popped into my head, lol.  I had some cute pictures of my grandchildren on their first day of school and so here it is.  Melanie is the one in charge of our challenge at BBTB2.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!! The cartridges used here were Sesame Street, Family Album and Just Because cards.  tfl.

Indiana Dunes with the Grandkids

Our oldest son invited us to hike with them yesterday, at Indiana Dunes State Park.  Did you know that the dunes are mountains???  It certainly felt like it, when we were climbing them, lol.  We had such fun and it was a beautiful day!!

So Dog-Gone Happy for You!

I had such fun making this card for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Maureen has challenged us to use our imagination and use an imaginary image.  At first I wasn't sure what to do, but decided to check out the Disney images.  I thought this Goofy image was kinda fun, so went with it.  The card base is from the Art Philosophy cartridge and I popped it up to make a shaker card with stars.  I bet you can come up with something fun.  Come and check it out and link you project up with us.  tfl.

Back to School

Down by the Sea

Valentyna is our talented designer for the challenge over at BBTB2 .  We are to use palms,sand, beach, sea.  I think I got most of  that one covered, lol.  I found this idea over at pinterest.com, and I just had to scrap lift it.  It is actually a kit on etsy made by scrappinwithmom, but I made mine using my Life's a Beach cartridge.  Thanks for the amazing idea.  This layout was made to be able to add our pictures from our recent vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  We had such a great time. Berry Nice

Well, I wasn't very observant when I made this card.  It was supposed to be about making a shaped birthday card, but I got carried away, lol.  I made this card for the person who watched our pets while we were on vacation.  Our challenge this week over at BBTB2 is to make a shape birthday card.  Emily is our amazingly talented designer with the challenge for this week.  My card was made from the Mickey and friends cartridge and also used Wild Card for the wording.  Come and join us for the fun!  tfl.

Summertime Fun Layout

  This is a picture of my grandbabies playing in the sand at Myrtle Beach South Carolina.  I added some of the shells that we found along the beach.  The cartridges that I used were:  Croc's Rule, Pooh and Friends for the Sun and Artbooking.  I loved all the fun images from Croc's Rule cartridge and loved it even more because the images were free.  I couldn't wait to scrap a picture from our recent trip.  Sharon is our amazingly talented design sister for the challenge over at BBTB2.  Our challenge this week, is to make a project with swimming or a water theme.  Come and join the fun and link up your project with us.  Check out what the BBTB2 team has come up with.  tfl.

Home Is Where You Are!

Hello again,  it is time for another challenge over at BBTB2.  We could use a little shade from the hot sunshine.  Our amazingly talented design sister, Pam has chase to use a tree in our card or project.  I found this cute frame in the Cindy Lou cartridge.  I haven't used this cartridge for quite a while.  The squirrel is from that cartridge as well.  I inserted the house from Wild Card 2 and used the title from the same cartridge.  And that is it.  It seems like it needs something else, but haven't figured it out yet. Happy 60th Birthday!

I just love this picture of my husband with our 4 grandchildren.  Ken just turned 60 this past weekend and in one week we will be married 40 years.  Wow, that went fast!!!  Gotta love these grandbabies, too.

In a Pinch?

This card was alot of fun to make.  The cute lobster came from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I got it from the Silhouette Online Store.  I didn't have a lobster from my Cricut.  This was made for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Maureen is our amazingly, talented designer with the challenge for this week.  The wave overlay came from my Artbooking cartridge and the label is from my trusty Art Philosophy cartridge.  Come and join  the fun.  Tfl.
