Christmas Ornament Challenge

 We have a new challenge over at BBTB2, and is all about Christmas ornaments.  Are you getting in the holiday mood?  I used a doily from Artiste,  rosette from Ribbons and Rosettes, and snowflakes from When it's Cold Outside.  I also used some gems to dress it up a bit.  Come on over and join the fun!

Grateful Heart

This layout was made for a challenge over at BBTB2, which the theme is food.  Besides being thankful for everything that God has given us, and done for us, we get together and have some delicious food.  This layout was created using the turkey from the Create a Critter cartridge, the pie from the Thanksgiving cartridge and the border was made using a border from Ribbons and Rosettes.  This paper pad had some really nice cut aparts that I used, also.  I hope everyone has a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.  It really is one of my favorite holidays.  Tfl.

Have a Purrfect Birthday!

Hello, we had such a gorgeous weekend here, this last weekend.  We spent it at our camper and did some bird watching.  We saw some Baltimore Orioles , a Hummingbird, as well as the other birds that frequent the area.  We wanted to spend all our time outside.

Anyhow, back to the card.  I used Four Legged Friends for the kitty cat, Ribbons and Rosettes, and Anna Griffin for the background label.  The sentiment is computer generated.  A friend of mine wanted a card for her daughter's birthday.  Tfl.

My Hero!

This is a layout I created for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Susan is our amazing design sister with the challenge for this week.  We are to use a superhero in our project.  I loved this teddy bear from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  The other images came from:  Star line is from Artbooking, the star border is from Ribbons and Rosettes, the My Hero wording is from Stand and Salute and the You're the Best wording is from the Wrap it Up cartridge.  That's it.  I also used the cut out stars to add to the layout.  This is a picture of my husband and our little doggie.  tfl.

Smitten Kitten Valentine

I am having alot of fun making valentines and I got inspired by a sketch challenge over at  the Mojomonday challenge blog.  I made this card using Sweethearts, Create a Critter and for the hearts-Ribbons and Rosettes and using my Explore.  I did some embossing using my Cuttlebug. tfl.

Broom Parking

It is time for another challenge over at BBTB2 and Susan is our wonderfully talented designer with the challenge for this week.  You need to use a witch's hat in your card or project.  I used the Wrap It Up cartridge and Ribbons and the Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge for the spider border.  I made this card for a friend of mine.  This is a stylin' witch, lol.  Come and join the fun.  tfl.

Welcome 2014!

Hello!!  Happy New Year to everyone.  Hope it is safe and that you have a wonderful New Year filled with God's blessings!  It is time for another challenge over at BBTB2 and the theme is to create a New Year's project.  I have to say this was a challenge for me and I had to think a long time on this.  This wreath is the only thing that I could come up with.  These rosettes took me a long time and I was glad to get it finished!!   It took me over two weeks to get it done.  We are having a linky party!!   Come and check it out!!  tfl.

Holiday Gift Container Challenge

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.  Come on over to BBTB2 and check out the wonderful gift containers that my design sisters have made.  Our design team leader, Susan has given us a fabulous challenge for this week.  I know we all need to have a gift container on hand for the holidays.  I am trying to remember what cartridges that I used for this.  I used Art Philosophy for the stamped poinsettias, the Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge, Winter Woodland for the Poinsettia on top and the box was made with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More2 cartridge.  Thanks for looking and come join the challenge.

Open if you Dare!

I made this treat box for my boss at work and I am going to put mint m&m's in it.  This box was made with the Artiste Cartridge.  I used Ribbons and Rosettes for the Rosette and also used the border for the spider web around the edge.  I had to use the cute spider from Create a Critter2 and George for the tag.  It was fun using my two latest cartridges.  I entered this project at bbtb2: http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/   tfl.

Imagine, berries and cream

I wanted to play with the Ribbons and Rosettes some more.  I haven't used this cartridge very much, yet.  I was trying to work with my Imagine.  It has given me such fits, lately.  It keeps saying it doesn't recognize that my print cartridges.   I have been working to fix it all day today.  tfl.

I had such fun with making this card.  I used my Imagine to print the paper and the cartridge I used was Kate's Kitchen.  It has the prettiest paper in it.  I used Ribbons and Rosettes and Sweet Treats for the flowers.  I got this idea from the Cricut Magazine.  tfl.
