Christmas Projects

 

I know that it doesn't look like it, but I have been busy crafting.  These are a few of my recent projects.  There is a challenge at the Official Facebook Group called the 12 Days of Making.  You do know how much I love a challenge.  It certainly is a way to stimulate the creativity and also see what others do.  tfl.

Sunflower Diamond Shaped Fun Fold Card

The sunflower was redone by using the contour feature to make it easier to deal with.  This card was entered in the sunflower challenge over at https://thesisterhoodofcrafters.blogspot.com/  Tfl.

Thankful Triple Fold Card/Fall

This card is very simple to make.  The double sided cardstock is really what makes this card special.  The chrysanthemum is drawn by my maker.  The inside image is print and cut. and the back is left to put your own sentiment. tfl.

Sweet Baby Girl Hexagon Card

 

Hello again!  This card is for a friend that just became a Grandma for the first time.  It is also for the August challenge on Official Cricut Papercrafting site on Facebook.  It is a hexagon card.  I added some side panels and added a belly band with a cute little giraffe.  I have been crafting a good amount between trips to see the boys.  I just have been lax in posting.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.  I can't believe it is almost over.  Tfl, and God bless.

A Birthday Card for You

 

I made this card for a challenge on Facebook for "The Official Cricut Papercrafting" site.  This is a fancy fold challenge and I do love a challenge.  I decided to make a birthday card.  I used my Maker and Cricut Design Space.  Tfl.

Fancy Fold Birthday Card

 

Hello, it has been a while since posting again.  We are settling in our home in North Carolina and fixing issues on our house.  We are certainly enjoying the area and being closer to my Mom.  

This card is for a fancy fold card challenge for the Official Cricut Papercrafting Facebook site.  I really enjoy these challenges!  I made this card for my husband's birthday.  The images are from the Crixut Design Space using my Maker.  Tfl.

These are a couple cards that I made using a card design from http://cardztv.blogspot.com/   These cards were made for my grand daughter's birthdays.

We have moved to North Carolina and are settled, so I can craft again.  I have most of my craft room set up enough to use my Cricut.  We are loving this area with all the pretty flowers, bushes and trees.  What a horrendous job, moving is!!  We moved in a snowstorm and that made things difficult.  My husband got into a spinout with the truck and moving trailer.  Luckily there was no damage except for frayed nerves.

Boston Terrier Christmas Flash Card

 

It is time to create those Christmas cards.  I had way too much fun creating this card for my girl's veterinarian.  All of the images were created with my Cricut except the Boston Terrier which was cut with my Silhouette.  This is a flash card and the pattern came from the Cricut Paper Crafting Facebook site.  Hope it gets a smile.

Christmas Ornament Challenge

 We have a new challenge over at BBTB2, and is all about Christmas ornaments.  Are you getting in the holiday mood?  I used a doily from Artiste,  rosette from Ribbons and Rosettes, and snowflakes from When it's Cold Outside.  I also used some gems to dress it up a bit.  Come on over and join the fun!

Fun at the Ballpark

 

Our oldest son recently took us to a Chicago Cubs game...and they won!  Both my son and husband love baseball and are on the same community baseball team for many years.  I used Family Album to make the layout and the baseball player from All Sports cartidge.

Brothers are Superheroes!

We have a family/heritage challenge at BBTB2 this week.  That goes really well with the Thanksgiving holiday, when family and thankfulness is so important.  I used a layout from Anthadene Endemann in the Cricut Design Space.  Her layouts are beautiful.  I used the Father's Day layout for a picture of my boys, when they were younger.  This picture brings back so many memories.

The Brother's title came from Heritage cartridge, star from basic shapes, ribbon from Classroom and the saying from Home Decor Vinyl Wall Art.  Tfl.

Something to Crow About

 

Another card for a BBTB2 challenge.  We are to use a crow in our project.  I am not sure I am that thrilled with this one??  The crow is from Mini Monsters and the title is from Just Because cards.  Easy peasy.

  We have had some beautiful fall days, I love having my windows open and taking walks outside.  Tfl.

Happy Fall

Hello again, it is time for another challenge at BBTB2, and it is to use pattern paper and your Cricut.  I made this fall  shaker card card.  I had some shiny leaves that I used in the shaker.  The sunflower comes from Close to my Heart, the pumpkin from Create a Critter,  the frame from Family Album and the wording from J Goode.  That's it.  This card was so fun to create.  Come and join the fun.  Tfl.

Mini Monster Shutter Card

 

I had fun making this shutter card.  This card was made for the monster challenge over at

 BBTB2 and also on the Official Cricut Facebook site.  The shutter card shape was shared and used for this card from that site, also.  I enjoy entering these challenges.  They make you think outside the "box".  Frankie was an image from Mini Monsters cartridge.  I used a frame from the Autumn Celebrations cartridge and welded the wording to it.  One of my grandkids will get this card.  Tfl.

Celebrating grandparents

 

We have another challenge over at BBTB2 and it is a challenge honoring grandparents.  The images that I used is Grandparents Day from Autumn Celebrations and the grandparents is from Grandparent Silhouettes.  And that is it.  Come join us in celebrating grandparents and how special they are.  Tfl.

Birthday Challenge

 

We have a new challenge over at BBTB2 and it is a birthday challenge...anything birthday.  This is my card for the challenge with a pop up inside.  I sliced out a square to make the gift a shaker in the title.  The title is from Once Upon a Princess.   The inside pop up wasn't  large enough, so borders were added at the top and bottom.   The cartridge that the pop up came from is Close to my Heart, Artfully Sent.

Under the Sea Challenge

 I made this card for my sweet grand daughter, for her birthday.  This card is so much fun!  The mermaid is from Ocean Swells and Mermaid Spells, and the seahorse and starfish are from Mermaid Lagoon.  I used a sketch from Mojo Monday challenges.  This card was for a challenge over at BBTB2.  This challenge is lots of fun.  Come join us.  Tfl.

The Great Outdoors

 

This layout is from Miss Kate Cuttables and the photo is from one of our many walks with the girls.  We have a small lake close to our house that we walk around quite often.  This layout is for a challenge over at BBTB2 and the theme is "The Great Outdoors".  Tfl.

A Day Filled with Happiness

 

I have been on a coloring kick with my Copic Markers.  Don't you just love the Bestie dolls from Sherri Baldy!!  I just love coloring them.  This is an easy peasy card with just the doll and a punch that I used.
