We appreciate you!
Hello, it is time for another challenge over at BBTB2 and our theme for this week is "Independence Day Challenge". Michelle is our talented design sister for this week and has challenged us to use a Cricut cut with an Independence theme. I was asked to participate in a World War 2 Honor Flight Mail Call. One of my co-workers knows one of the honorees. I made this card to honor him. I used George for the square and star and welded them together to make the card base. I also used Art Philosophy for the label and Create a Critter 2 for the patriotic hat. It was so much fun to create this card and be part of this honor to the veterans that fought for our country. Come and join us at BBTB2 and link up your project with us. tfl.

Summer-time Fun!
Hello again! It is time for a challenge over at BBTB2 and our talented and amazing designer, Melanie has chosen to make a summer fun card or project. I was looking at the layouts in the Artbooking cartridge and saw one that I liked. Problem is: I don't have the Artbooking cartridge, although I sure wish I had. I used my cameo for the overlay and the title, but used my Cricut for the flip flops and the turtle and Zooballoo for the waves. These beautiful children are my grandchildren, at our camper for some pool fun. Come and join the fun at BBTB2. tfl.

Congratulations!
I am sure you have need of a graduation card, this time of year. Come and join the challenge over at BBTB2. Mayra is our talented design sister, who is in charge of our challenge this week. I had to dig out my Teddy Bear Parade cartridge to make this card. I also used Art Philosophy to make the label and the stars. There are stars embossed on the white card base. tfl.

Mommy
Hello, we have a beautiful day in Illinois. I am enjoying a nice day off and feeling better after catching another bug that kept me under the weather for a couple days. Ugh! I thought I would share this card that I made using the Silhouette Online Store. This is a shaker card and made for a belated Mother's Day card. It is hard to see the tiny stars that make the shaker. This is entered at: Silhouette Challenge Blog for the shape card challenge. Come check it out.

#1 Dad
This is a card made from the Wrap it Up cartridge. I used the card base of this image but hid the cuts and used the image on the card. This paper is alot of fun. I tried to make a shadow of just a little larger cut behind the tie. Not sure it worked that well, but it was worth a try. This is a card for the challenge over at BBTB2. Susan is our talented design in charge of our challenge for this week. The challenge is to make a card or project with a father's day theme. Come and join us. I made several father's day cards and was able to sell some of them at work. tfl.

Cat-titude is everything!
I made this card for a lady at work for her birthday. She likes cats and has three of them. I found this image from the Silhouette Online Store and also used the card base from the store, also.
We had another birthday party this weekend. It was for my DIL and we had it at our camper. It was wonderful weather and we had such fun. Here is her card:

Happy First Birthday!!
Hello, Laura is our talented designer over at BBTB2. Our challenge is to alter a cricut cut by using paint, modge podge, glitter, glue, or markers. I hope I interpreted the challenge correctly. I used the George cartridge and used one of the rectangles and had the stars and circles cut out of it. The stars have small stars in them to make this a shaker card. The bear image is from the Silhouette Online Store. Come and join the fun, let's see what you come up with!! I got this idea from Creations of an army wife. I am ashamed to say that I scraplifted this cute idea!! tfl.
