Happy Fall

Hello again, it is time for another challenge at BBTB2, and it is to use pattern paper and your Cricut.  I made this fall  shaker card card.  I had some shiny leaves that I used in the shaker.  The sunflower comes from Close to my Heart, the pumpkin from Create a Critter,  the frame from Family Album and the wording from J Goode.  That's it.  This card was so fun to create.  Come and join the fun.  Tfl.

And I punched out different colors to add to the tree.  The grass is from Wrap it Up.  That is it.  Tfl.

Grateful Heart

This layout was made for a challenge over at BBTB2, which the theme is food.  Besides being thankful for everything that God has given us, and done for us, we get together and have some delicious food.  This layout was created using the turkey from the Create a Critter cartridge, the pie from the Thanksgiving cartridge and the border was made using a border from Ribbons and Rosettes.  This paper pad had some really nice cut aparts that I used, also.  I hope everyone has a happy and blessed Thanksgiving.  It really is one of my favorite holidays.  Tfl.

Wish Upon a Starfish

I am still on a Miss Kate Cuttables kick.  I love this image and all I had to do is find this label from Lacy Kabels to put it on.  The sentiment is:  Wish upon a Starfish, from the Family Vacation cartridge and the starfish from Create a Critter.  This card is for a challenge over at BBTB2, beach theme.  Tfl.

Snow Globe Ornaments

I saw a cute ornament in the "Make it Now" section and this is what I came up with.  I got these acrylic ornaments from Michael's and used half of one to make an ornament.  I used a scalloped image and circle for the backing.  The snow bank came from the Country Life cartridge and I sliced it to fit in the snow globe.  I found the deer and squirrel in the Create a Critter cartridge.  I used my hot glue gun to glue it together and of course some glitter inside.  Tfl

Hello Sunshine!

Hello everyone!  Are you ready for springtime...bunnies, chickies, ducks, lambs, easter eggs.  Well, the reason for the season is Jesus' resurrection and the hope that we have in Jesus.

Susan is our amazingly talented designer with the challenge over at BBTB2.  Our theme is "anything goes Easter".  My card base is from Art Philosophy, the chick is from the Create a Critter cartridge and the flowers are from Kate's Abc's.  Check out what my amazing design sisters have come up with.  Tfl.

Happy Easter!

Susan is our amazing design sister in charge of the challenge over at BBTB2 and it is all about Easter!!  I bet you are seeing bunnies, chickies and eggs all over the place!  I made my card from scratch, from a card I saw on Pinterest.  Jayne made it and she was one of our designers a while ago. She is soooo talented!!  The card base, eggs and banner are from Art Philosophy, the bunny from Create a Critter, the grass is from Artiste, the sunshine and clouds are from Pooh and Friends.  I made a tent card, using a little different technique than Jayne.  I cut two tags and attached them to a fold, so I would have different sections graduated inside.  Then added the grass, bunnies and eggs.  It was lots of fun.

I just barely got this card done.  I had a good amount of stress lately and medicated myself with sugar, which gave me a nice virus that I was dealing with most of the week.  I watched my grandchildren for a day this week, also.  Well, here it is, just under the wire.  tfl.

You're so Tweet!

There are so many birdie images to choose from for our challenge over at BBTB2.  I am hosting for   Brenda who has chosen the fun challenge of using a bird in our card or project.  I decided to go vintage and make this card for my mother in law's birthday.  She likes birdies and used to feed them and watch for them in her yard.  She is in assisted living now, so I wanted to bring the birdie inside to her.  The bird house is from Cindy Lou as well as the flourish.  The birdie came from Create a Critter, the flowers and leaves from Artiste and the tag is from George.  Come and join the fun!!  tfl.

Yappy Birthday!

I made this card for our triage nurse at work.  She had a birthday on July 4th, so I made a festive card for her.  She loves doggies and thought she may enjoy this.  I found this idea over at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.  Joy did such a fabulous job on her card and I shamelessly scraplifted it.  I  made this for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Sharon, our talented design sister has our challenge for the week and it is "dog days of summer".  You can use a dog in your card or project.  I welded the dog house together to make a shape card and also welded the doggie to the hat to make a shadow.  The patriotic hat is from Create a Critter 2.  Come and join the fun!!  tfl.

It's your Bird-day!

Hello, it is time for another challenge over at BBTB2.  Our challenge this week is from our talented design sister, Michelle.  She has challenged us to use a musical note in our card or project.  I thought of a bird singing, because it is closer to spring time and I have been hearing the birds singing in the morning when I leave for work.  I love the sound of the birds singing.  I made my card using my Art Philosophy cartridge and Create a Critter cartridge.  Come and join the fun and enter your card or project.  tfl.

Gobble, Gobble!

This was such a fun card to make.  I started with the card base using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  The acorn, leaves and label are also from the cartridge.  The little turkey is from Create a Critter cartridge.  The inside sentiment says:  Let's do the Turkey Dance!  The turkey is on an action wobble.  I made this card for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Our talented designer for this week is Melanie.  Come on over and join the fun!  tfl.

Sweet Dreams

I made this for my new grandbaby to give to their parents. Kaylee is such a sweet baby and adorable, of course.  She almost always has her little tongue sticking out, lol.  I got my inspiration for this frame from Donna Mundinger who made this in the past.  She has inspired me so much in making shape cards, she is an amazing card maker.  I only wish I had made the little girl with the teddy bear a little smaller.  Anyway, I used George for the stars, Create a Critter for the sentiment and cloud and A Child's Year for the silhouette.  tfl.
