Thinking of you

This is one of a group of cards made for a friend of mine for her mil.  This cute image came from the Silhouette Online store.  This is a very simple card.  tfl.  We just got back from checking on our camper that was just feet from the tornado that hit at Diamond Illinois.  Glad to see that our camper was fine.  There was alot of tree damage along the road that leads to the camper and of course the damage at Diamond.  Lots to be thankful for.

Harvest

I was so excited after making this card.  I figured out how to do the wording with the offset, without cutting out the letters.  I have been wanting to do this for a long time.  I hope I can remember how to do it again, lol.  The little scare-girl is from the silhouette online store as well  as the sentiment and leaf frame.  I used the art philosophy cartridge for making the leaves.  tfl.

You are the best! --Boss's Day Card

My boss loves to scuba dive in exotic places and has seen a lot of different fishes, etc.  I found this fish from the silhouette online store as well as the seaweed and banner.  The bubbles were made with crystal laquer and the "sand" embossed with my cuttlebug.  I had such fun making this card.  Hope she likes it.  tfl.

Purrrfect!

We have a fun challenge over at BBTB2 this week.  Our challenge is to use a dog or cat from any cartridge with any theme.  Shelly is our talented design leader this week.  I made my own version of a Mojo Monday sketch.  This kitty cat is from the Four Legged Friends cartridge.  I thought this kitty cat looked like he had an attitude.  I know mine does at times, lol.  Come join the fun!!!  We are to pick cat or dog, which is our favorite?  I couldn't possibly pick.  They are special in totally different ways.  I am a little closer to my dog Sadie, because she is always curled up next to me.  Cats are a little more aloof.

Thinking of you

The sun is coming out and it is going to be a beautiful day.  This is a sympathy card for a dear friend of mine whose father just passed away.  You probably recognize this paper from my granddaughters birth announcement.  I ordered too much of the paper.  You will probably see it again, lol.  This image is from the Silhouette Online Store.  I made extra cuts of the flowers to layer them, and used Flower Shoppe to make the center of the pink flower.  Hope you have a blessed day.  tfl.

Eeek!

This was such a fun card to make.   I loved the eyeball paper and this cut was just too perfect for it.  This cut came from the Silhouette Online Store.  The eyeballs, I put a lot of crystal laquer to make it look like an eyeball.  I was playing around with the Cameo software and created Eeek!  by welding and using the software colors.  This was printed on my printer.  I have tried to play whenever I get a free moment, which hasn't been very often lately.  After we finished our roof, our neighbor asked us to put a roof on for him.  That is the end of MY roofing career!!!  No more roofing for me!!!   In the middle of that, my husband had some health issues with his heart that put him in the hospital for a day.  We are both exhausted and can't wait to slow down.  tfl.
