Graduation

I had such fun making this card.  It is a 4 × 6 card and it took me awhile to figure out the hinge on the owl.  I found this idea on Pinterest.  I don't have anyone who is supposed to graduate this year, so this will go in my stash.

This card was made for the challenge over at BBTB2 and of course it is to make a graduation project.  The images used:

Create a Critter 2 for the owl
Stretch Your Imagination for the rectangle frame
Felicity for the Font

And that is it.  Tfl.

Good Luck!

It is all about Shamrocks over at BBTB2 and Maureen is our amazing design sister for this week.  I used another one of the "Make it Now" projects.  This Shamrock comes from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge.  Easy, peasy!

Monster Mash

Here are a couple of some little monsters for a Halloween card for my grandkids.  I got the images from the Mini Monsters and Create a Critter 2 cartridges.  Other than that, easy peasy.  I am so enjoying the fall season.  We just got back from a trip to North Carolina to see my parents.  We always enjoy hiking in the beautiful mountains.  Our son Kenton came along, too.  I am always enjoying the time spent with our boys.  tfl.

Hoppy Easter, Easter Basket

Laurie is our amazingly talented designer with the challenge over at BBTB2.  We are to make a 3D project.  Being that it is almost Easter time, I thought that I would make an Easter basket.  This basket is from TBBM2.  I used quite a few cartridges on this project:  Celebrate with a Flourish for the Hoppy Easter and the Bunny, the grass came from Zoobaloo, the tag was from Doodlecharms and the tulip is from Create a Critter 2.   I am so excited for this week when we will have some spring temperatures.  Love it.  Come and join the fun and link your project with us.  Tfl.

Here are some more pics:

It is margarita time over at BBTB2.  Kelly has chosen our challenge for this week with a Fiesta theme.  I decided to make a birthday card using a pinata from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge and a card base from the Birthday Bash cartridge.  Come and join the fun.  tfl.

We appreciate you!

Hello, it is time for another challenge over at BBTB2 and our theme for this week is "Independence Day Challenge".  Michelle is our talented design sister for this week and has challenged us to use a Cricut cut with an Independence theme.  I was asked to participate in a World War 2 Honor Flight Mail Call.  One of my co-workers knows one of the honorees.  I made this card to honor him.  I used George for the square and star and welded them together to make the card base.  I also used Art Philosophy for the label and Create a Critter 2 for the patriotic hat.  It was so much fun to create this card and be part of this honor to the veterans that fought for our country.  Come and join us at BBTB2 and link up your project with us.  tfl.

You did it!

Jaren is our designer for this week and picked the challenge to make a card or project with a school theme.  I made this somewhat generic, so I can use it for almost anything.  I found this award from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge.  The saying is from Beyond Birthday cartridge.  I had fun mixing alot of colors and patterns.  It is probably a bit busy, lol.  Come and check out the projects our amazing team has created over at BBTB2 and join the fun!  tfl.

Super Tweet!

Hello, it is my turn to pick the challenge over at BBTB2,  It is springtime and I have enjoyed hearing the birds every morning and they are so happy.  The theme is birds of a feather and to make a card or project with a bird in it.  I think I might use this for a mother's day card.  The cartridges that I used are Art Philosophy and Create a Critter 2.  Please come and join us.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.  Check out the other ladies and their awesome projects.  tfl.

Life is Good!

Hello it is time for another challenge over at BBTB2.  Susan is our amazingly talented design sister this week.  I chose an image from baby steps and decided to do a slider card.  The little bunny moves sideways.  I used a tree from Create a Critter cartridge.  I had alot of this paper left over from a project, so I know it probably looks familiar.  I haven't been able to craft this week.  Hubby and I are recuperating from the stomach flu.  I don't need to tell you how nasty that was.  Hope everyone else is doing well.  tfl.

Open if you dare!

Hi, I made this card for my grandson.  What a cute little ghoul.  He is from the Silhouette Online Store and the haunted house is from Create a Critter 2.  I did put a sentiment on the grey ground, but I had already taken the picture.  The little ghoul is on an action wobble.  On the inside is the sentiment: a hauntin' we will go.  tfl.

Butterfly Kisses

I am so excited that I was asked to be part of the design team sisters at BBTB2.  I have enjoyed posting my projects to this site in the past and have enjoyed sharing with these ladies, so much.  Brenda gave us a challenge of using a heart or cupid in our project, using our Cricut.  I just finished this valentine for my grand-daughter.  I used the cartridges:  Doodlecharms, Art Philosophy and Create a Critter 2.  I put an action wobble on the butterfly to make her jiggle.  Please come join the challenge.

Bananas for You!

I just can't stop making these valentine cards from Create a Critter 2.  This is a pedestal card that I made for my grandson.  There is an action wobble on the monkey and crystal laquer on the hearts.  Valentines are so much fun to make.  They are such "happy" cards.  tfl.

Be Merry!

I just love this cute little doggie from Create a Critter 2.  I used all the images on the card from this cartridge.  I just got it and love it.  I gave this card to my veterinarian who loves crafty things.  Sorry the photo turned out lopsided.  tfl

Open if you Dare!

I made this treat box for my boss at work and I am going to put mint m&m's in it.  This box was made with the Artiste Cartridge.  I used Ribbons and Rosettes for the Rosette and also used the border for the spider web around the edge.  I had to use the cute spider from Create a Critter2 and George for the tag.  It was fun using my two latest cartridges.  I entered this project at bbtb2: http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/   tfl.

Happy Haunting, ladybug

My husband got the Create a Critter 2 cartridge for Sweetest Day.  Isn't he "sweet".  I had been looking at this cartridge and wanting it.  I just love this ladybug and am going to give it to my grand daughter for Halloween.  This was a very simple card to make.  tfl.
