Wise Men Still Adore Him

I think this is my favorite card that I made this year.  The Wise Men came from The Three Wisemen image set and I used the print and cut option, the star is from Tis the Season, the sentiment is from Winter Frolic and the squares are from George.

It is hard to believe that Christmas is less than 2 weeks away.  It will certainly be a quiet one.  Tfl.

Spring Equinox

We are partnering with the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for this challenge, over at BBTB2.  Our challenge is a project for Spring Equinox.  I am so excited to see spring around the corner!  We have had a couple of wonderful walks with our doggies.  Our puppy is learning to walk on the leash really well.  It helps to have a big sister.  We love our babies.  I am sitting here with both of them on my lap. (Doggy heaven)

This card is made using a Mojo Monday sketch.  The lilacs are from Flower Market, the tag from George, the butterfly and the doily from Artiste.  Tfl.

Gift Tags and Boxes

I made this tag for a challenge over at BBTB2 and Maureen is our amazingly, talented designer with the challenge for this week.  We are to make a gift tag or box.  The tag was made using George and the flowers and leaves were from the Artiste cartridge.  I love this sweet Prima Doll that I got from a sweet friend.  It was so much fun playing with it.  Come and join the fun.  tfl.

Vintage Box

Laura chose for the challenge of the week to make a 3d project over at BBTB2.  I found my little box (and it is little) in the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more 2 cartridge.  I put a little band at the bottom to help it keep it's shape.  The flowers, leaves and doily are from the Artiste cartridge and the tag from George.  Now to figure out what to do with it, lol.  It was fun to try something other than cards!  Come and join us and check out what my amazing design sisters have come up with.  tfl.

You're so Tweet!

There are so many birdie images to choose from for our challenge over at BBTB2.  I am hosting for   Brenda who has chosen the fun challenge of using a bird in our card or project.  I decided to go vintage and make this card for my mother in law's birthday.  She likes birdies and used to feed them and watch for them in her yard.  She is in assisted living now, so I wanted to bring the birdie inside to her.  The bird house is from Cindy Lou as well as the flourish.  The birdie came from Create a Critter, the flowers and leaves from Artiste and the tag is from George.  Come and join the fun!!  tfl.

Feel Better Soon!

I had quite a time trying to weld this card together.  I called Cricut and they told me what I was doing wrong.  Yay, anyway I wasn't able to weld the umbrella to the rectangle, so it is what it is.  This is made for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Pam is our amazingly talented designer with the challenge for this week.  We are to use rain and an umbrella in our card or project.  My clouds and rain drops came from Pooh and Friends, same with the umbrella, I think.  Lol.  Have you every added an image from your Explore, only to forget where you got it from? Anyway, come and join the fun.  Check out what my design sisters have come up with.  tfl.

Open If You Dare Treat Box

Jayne is our amazingly talented designer for this week's challenge over at BBTB2 .  We are to make a treat box.  At first I made a Snowman treat box and thought being that this is time for halloween, I should make a halloween treat box.  I used several cartridges to make this project.  First of all, I used TBBM2 for the box, Paperdoll dress up for the spiders and fencing.  I used the George cartridge to put some oval cut outs in the side of the box, so you can see the candy.  The cat is from Cindy Lou and the haunted house and ghosts are from the Silhouette Online Store.  I hope you come and join in the fun.  tfl.

We appreciate you!

Hello, it is time for another challenge over at BBTB2 and our theme for this week is "Independence Day Challenge".  Michelle is our talented design sister for this week and has challenged us to use a Cricut cut with an Independence theme.  I was asked to participate in a World War 2 Honor Flight Mail Call.  One of my co-workers knows one of the honorees.  I made this card to honor him.  I used George for the square and star and welded them together to make the card base.  I also used Art Philosophy for the label and Create a Critter 2 for the patriotic hat.  It was so much fun to create this card and be part of this honor to the veterans that fought for our country.  Come and join us at BBTB2 and link up your project with us.  tfl.

Happy First Birthday!!

Hello, Laura is our talented designer over at BBTB2.  Our challenge is to alter a cricut cut by using paint, modge podge, glitter, glue, or markers.  I hope I interpreted the challenge correctly.  I used the George cartridge and used one of the rectangles and had the stars and circles cut out of it.  The stars have small stars in  them to make this a shaker card.  The bear image is from the Silhouette Online Store.  Come and join the fun, let's see what you come up with!!  I got this idea from Creations of an army wife.  I am ashamed to say that I scraplifted this cute idea!!  tfl.

Easter Bunnies

Hello, It is feeling more like spring, Yay!!!  I found this idea over at Pinterest and I forgot who had this awesome idea.  I used the George cartridge for the shapes.  There is a heart, 4 circles and 4 oblong circles and some doodling.  I used my gypsy to weld two hearts together to get the card shape.  Come and join the challenge over at BBTB2.  This is such a fun time a year to create spring time projects.  Brenda is our talented design sister with the challenge of making an Easter project.   Look at all the awesomeness of the other projects!!  tfl.

Happy 25th Birthday!

Hello, I am excited to be the designer for the challenge this week over at BBTB2.  My son's 25th birthday is coming up soon, so I thought it would be fun to make some birthday cards, this week.  We have been making holiday cards for quite a while now and I don't know about you but I am a little burned out from doing everything having to do with the holidays.  I used my Gypsy to weld these images to a shape from George.  I had so much fun creating this card.  My son, Kenton loves soccer and decided to make his card with that theme.  Come and join the fun over at BBTB2 and link up with us.  Here is another view of the card.  tfl.

Gift Tag Challenge

I just had to pull out my Teddy Bear Parade for this challenge.  The bears on this cartridge are so cute.  Here is the cute little elf made using my George cartridge for the tag.  I also used a stamp around the page by Martha Stewart and the snowflake from Artiste.  This turned out to be a fairly large tag.  Come and join the fun over at BBTB2.  Laura is our talented design leader for this week and she picked an awesome challenge!!  Check out the other tags that my design sisters have come up with.  Such fabulously good stuff.  tfl.

Have a Bright Sunshiney Day!

Hello, I am in charge of the challenge this week over at BBTB2.  I chose a beach time challenge.  Getting in the water or being at the beach this time of year feels so good.  We spent a lot of time at the lake with the kids when they were little, and always had to dig in the sand.  The boys made some pretty neat things in the sand.  This card was made from the Boys will be Boys cartridge.  The circle was welded with my Gypsy to a shape from the George cartridge.  The flower and label were from Art Philosophy.  Come join the fun!!  tfl.

Sweet Dreams

I made this for my new grandbaby to give to their parents. Kaylee is such a sweet baby and adorable, of course.  She almost always has her little tongue sticking out, lol.  I got my inspiration for this frame from Donna Mundinger who made this in the past.  She has inspired me so much in making shape cards, she is an amazing card maker.  I only wish I had made the little girl with the teddy bear a little smaller.  Anyway, I used George for the stars, Create a Critter for the sentiment and cloud and A Child's Year for the silhouette.  tfl.

Howdy!

Hello or should I say "Howdy"??  I made this for one of my grandchildren who is having a birthday next month.  He just loves Toy Story!!  I found this idea on a blog and can't remember where it was.  I used Toy Story cartridge for Buzz and the howdy sentiment.  The horseshoe was welded with my gypsy to a shape from George.  tfl.  Happy Easter and God bless you.

Happy Easter!

Our challenge at BBTB2 is to use an egg in our projects.  Please stop over and check out the neat projects that our design team have created.  I made this card using George for the rectangular card base and welded the egg and chick with my Gypsy.  The egg and chick came from the Simply Charmed cartridge.  The label was made with Art Philosophy and the flowers from Flower Shoppe.  I think I will give this to my grand-daughter for Easter. Tfl and thanks for your kind comments!
