Summertime Fun Layout

This is a picture of my grandbabies playing in the sand at Myrtle Beach South Carolina.  I added some of the shells that we found along the beach.  The cartridges that I used were:  Croc's Rule, Pooh and Friends for the Sun and Artbooking.  I loved all the fun images from Croc's Rule cartridge and loved it even more because the images were free.  I couldn't wait to scrap a picture from our recent trip.  Sharon is our amazingly talented design sister for the challenge over at BBTB2.  Our challenge this week, is to make a project with swimming or a water theme.  Come and join the fun and link up your project with us.  Check out what the BBTB2 team has come up with.  tfl.

  2. Look at you go with these layouts Caroline! I love this layout!!! Your grands were in my old stomping grounds. I lived 14 miles from Myrtle Beach when I was younger and loved going to the beach and Pavilion when I was a kid. So many memories and so much fun. Glad your grands are experiencing and making memories as well. Only when I was a kid, it wasn't as touristy as it is now! Your scene is adorable and I just love your layout! My hubby asked my aunt one time when we were down and crabbing why the grass was missing in some areas, and she told him it was where the alligator crossing. He said, you mean I've been standing in a gator crossing and you let me?!! lol Fun times even now when we go down. Hugs, Brenda

  5. I'm ready to jump in - love all the embellishments around the picture - makes it so cheerful and bright! (p.s. I almost used that 'summer' title too - love it). Hopefully someday our children and grandchildren will appreciate all of these layouts - it's a great way to document our lives.
