Boston Terrier Christmas Flash Card

 

It is time to create those Christmas cards.  I had way too much fun creating this card for my girl's veterinarian.  All of the images were created with my Cricut except the Boston Terrier which was cut with my Silhouette.  This is a flash card and the pattern came from the Cricut Paper Crafting Facebook site.  Hope it gets a smile.

Christmas Ornament Challenge

 We have a new challenge over at BBTB2, and is all about Christmas ornaments.  Are you getting in the holiday mood?  I used a doily from Artiste,  rosette from Ribbons and Rosettes, and snowflakes from When it's Cold Outside.  I also used some gems to dress it up a bit.  Come on over and join the fun!

Fun at the Ballpark

 

Our oldest son recently took us to a Chicago Cubs game...and they won!  Both my son and husband love baseball and are on the same community baseball team for many years.  I used Family Album to make the layout and the baseball player from All Sports cartidge.

Brothers are Superheroes!

We have a family/heritage challenge at BBTB2 this week.  That goes really well with the Thanksgiving holiday, when family and thankfulness is so important.  I used a layout from Anthadene Endemann in the Cricut Design Space.  Her layouts are beautiful.  I used the Father's Day layout for a picture of my boys, when they were younger.  This picture brings back so many memories.

The Brother's title came from Heritage cartridge, star from basic shapes, ribbon from Classroom and the saying from Home Decor Vinyl Wall Art.  Tfl.

Something to Crow About

 

Another card for a BBTB2 challenge.  We are to use a crow in our project.  I am not sure I am that thrilled with this one??  The crow is from Mini Monsters and the title is from Just Because cards.  Easy peasy.

  We have had some beautiful fall days, I love having my windows open and taking walks outside.  Tfl.

Happy Fall

Hello again, it is time for another challenge at BBTB2, and it is to use pattern paper and your Cricut.  I made this fall  shaker card card.  I had some shiny leaves that I used in the shaker.  The sunflower comes from Close to my Heart, the pumpkin from Create a Critter,  the frame from Family Album and the wording from J Goode.  That's it.  This card was so fun to create.  Come and join the fun.  Tfl.

Mini Monster Shutter Card

 

I had fun making this shutter card.  This card was made for the monster challenge over at

 BBTB2 and also on the Official Cricut Facebook site.  The shutter card shape was shared and used for this card from that site, also.  I enjoy entering these challenges.  They make you think outside the "box".  Frankie was an image from Mini Monsters cartridge.  I used a frame from the Autumn Celebrations cartridge and welded the wording to it.  One of my grandkids will get this card.  Tfl.

Celebrating grandparents

 

We have another challenge over at BBTB2 and it is a challenge honoring grandparents.  The images that I used is Grandparents Day from Autumn Celebrations and the grandparents is from Grandparent Silhouettes.  And that is it.  Come join us in celebrating grandparents and how special they are.  Tfl.

Birthday Challenge

 

We have a new challenge over at BBTB2 and it is a birthday challenge...anything birthday.  This is my card for the challenge with a pop up inside.  I sliced out a square to make the gift a shaker in the title.  The title is from Once Upon a Princess.   The inside pop up wasn't  large enough, so borders were added at the top and bottom.   The cartridge that the pop up came from is Close to my Heart, Artfully Sent.

Under the Sea Challenge

 I made this card for my sweet grand daughter, for her birthday.  This card is so much fun!  The mermaid is from Ocean Swells and Mermaid Spells, and the seahorse and starfish are from Mermaid Lagoon.  I used a sketch from Mojo Monday challenges.  This card was for a challenge over at BBTB2.  This challenge is lots of fun.  Come join us.  Tfl.

The Great Outdoors

 

This layout is from Miss Kate Cuttables and the photo is from one of our many walks with the girls.  We have a small lake close to our house that we walk around quite often.  This layout is for a challenge over at BBTB2 and the theme is "The Great Outdoors".  Tfl.

A Day Filled with Happiness

 

I have been on a coloring kick with my Copic Markers.  Don't you just love the Bestie dolls from Sherri Baldy!!  I just love coloring them.  This is an easy peasy card with just the doll and a punch that I used.

Christmas in July

I decided to join the fun at the Official Cricut group on Facebook.  I made this z fold card with this cute snowman.  This is for a Christmas in July challenge.

I had so much fun with the design, that I made another z fold card, which I think I like even better.  The fun fold card was all designed in Design Space.  For this card, I used Olaf, who is just so cute, anyway!  I entered Olaf in the Double Trouble Challenge.

Feel Better Soon

 

We have a recycle challenge over at BBTB2 and really struggled with this one.  I came up with using scraps from my scrap pile, which is considerable!  I used the Close to my Heart Artistry cartridge for both of these images.  The umbrella was cut several times to create the different colors.  And that is it...easy peasy.  Come and join us.  Tfl.

Bring on the Cake

 

I saw these cute little images over at the Pause Dream Enjoy blog.  I just had to try to color them.  I used my Copic markers to color and my Cricut to create the banner and the background shape.  The cute little girl came from My Besties Shop.  I had a hard time deciding on which Bestie dolls to purchase.  They are all so cute!

A Little Something

It's All About The Guys

 

I made this card for my son's birthday using the little guy from "Up".  I crimped the paper behind the overlay and stretched the rectangle to make a banner.  This is an easy card to make.  This is for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Come on over and join us.  Tfl

County Fair Layout

I had such fun making this layout for a challenge over at BBTB2, for the County Fair challenge.  I did not know what to do for this challenge, but thought back to my 4H days and the projects that we made for the Sandwich County Fair.  This picture shows an apron, tote bag and scarf that I made.  It was made out of red gingham fabric.  This also shows how ancient that I am, lol.  I was very blessed to have grown up on a farm.  I still can't  believe that my Mom let me use her sewing machine.  That started my love for all things crafty.  The cartridges that I used for this layout are Coutry Life, and Nifty Fifties.  Tfl.

May Flowers

Don't you just love all the pretty flowers this time of year!  The challenge over at BBTB2 is all about flowers on any project.  I created two projects for this challenge.  My layout is from a hike with my Mom at Fletcher Park.  The image set is Miss Kate Cuttables.

The card uses a sketch from a Mojo Monday challenge.  I have a friend that is moving to Florida, so this card has a tropical theme.  Tfl.

Happy Graduation!

 

I always get inspired by using the Mojo Monday sketch challenges, and that is what I used, here.  The bear is from the Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge.  The card is made for a challenge over at BBTB2 and it is a graduation challenge.  I have 2 grandchildren progressing onto 6th grade and 1 grandchild graduating to high school.  Wow, that went fast!!!  They are growing so fast.  Tfl.

Rockin' the Dog Mom Life

 

I had iron on vinyl and a shirt left over from some previous projects, so I made this shirt for myself.  I also made a shirt for my grand daughter, for her birthday.  I had such fun.  Tfl.

May the 4th be with You!

This was actually the theme of my son and his wife's wedding.  It got cancelled and re-scheduled due to covid and it actually happened in August.  They had a Star Wars themed wedding.  Although it wasn't exactly as planned, it was so beautiful and fun!  Of course the bride was beautiful and our son so handsome.  Not all of yhe family was able to go, but all of our sons were there.  Wow, time flies.  This layout is for a challenge over at BBTB2.  Check out the Star Wars challenge.  Tfl.

Don't Mess With A Princess

This is a layout that was made for a challenge over at BBTB2 and it is actually a Halloween photo of my grand daughter. I couldn't resist using the Disney Princess cartridge and using it for the Fairy Tale challenge.  The wording is from Life's a Party and seemed perfect for this layout.  What a fun challenge!  Come and join the fun.  Tfl.

Easter Bunnies

 I found this idea on Pinterest and I am ashamed to say that I scraplifted it.  This card is made for the Easter bunny challenge over at BBTB2.  The bunny and the duck are from Create A Critter.  The tree is from Pooh and Friends. And I punched out different colors to add to the tree.  The grass is from Wrap it Up.  That is it.  Tfl.

Tiny Dancer

 

We have a dance or music challenge over at BBTB2 and I remembered that one of my sons and my grand daughter had a Daddy-Daughter dance.  I had to do something with that photo.  The little girl dancer and the shoes are from Twinkle Toes image set and the wording is from Once Upon A Princess.  Come on over and join the fun.  Tfl.

Thinking of You, Sunflower

 This is a card made for a challenge over at BBTB2, "anything goes challenge".  I thought that a pick me up card would be good to have around, especially these days.  I used a sketch from the "Mojo Monday" challenge blog.  Her sketches are so beautiful.  I took the sketch and flipped it around a bit.  The sunflower is from Intricate Seasonal Art.   The border from Creative Cards.    And the cute little bees are a print and cut from Bug Printables.  I added some bling to the sunflower. I used some Graphic 45 papers to create this card.  Don't you just hate to cut up some of these gorgeous papers?  I do, anyways.  Come and join us for the challenge.  Tfl.

You're the Coolest/ Food Challenge

 This is a Valentine card.  On the left side, there is some writing-to/from, that I removed.    Isn't this image the cutest.  It also comes with an envelope.  I was going to use it as a thank you card for my friend who treated me to an ice cream.   Best friend ever!  This card is from the "Best of Rob and Bob" cartridge.  I used some fun paper and did some doodling.  This card was also made for a food challenge over at BBTB2.  Ice cream qualifies as food, right??  Come and join us for this fun challenge!

Valentines Day Hearts Challenge

 

I love doing vintage and what better time to do it, than Valentine's Day.  Alot of this card is just using images and cut aparts from Graphic 45 paper.  I used a tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge.  I welded two tags together to make the pocket.  The flowers and the heart inside the pocket are from the Artiste cartridge.  I had a paper doily that I tucked behind the pocket.  This valentine card was created for a challenge over at BBTB2.  I was inspired by a project on Pinterest.  Tfl.

Christmas Snowflake Ornaments

 

I have been having alot of fun makimg these ornaments that are part of the Cricut Access projects.  I tried to find the blingiest and shiniest paper, although it is hard to tell.  I try to keep some of these sowfakes on hand just in case I need a little gift.  I also make some for my kiddos to put on their trees.  These snowflakes are also for a challenge over at BBTB2.

Get Well Wishes

 

I love this pitcher and flowers from Kate's Abc's...such a pretty image.  I love alot of the images from this cartridge.  They are girly and feminine.  The card base is 4.25 square layered with the pitcher layer.  I already sent this card off to some friends that are struggling with Covid.  This challenge sure is appropriate right now.  Tfl.
